While many eagerly anticipate the announcement of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and its implications for the subseries, die-hard Zombies enthusiasts patiently await the mode's revival in Treyarch's upcoming game. Perk Packages, Field Orders, and customizable killstreaks like those in Advanced Warfare were all innovative concepts that eventually faded away. Although deathstreaks like Final Stand were frustrating, they became iconic. Previously, COD Points served as a means of monetization to purchase bundles from an in-game store, but they were initially a currency earned within the game, used to unlock camos and participate in wager matches. Over time, the Call of Duty franchise has introduced and removed various features. In order to make the release more thrilling, Treyarch should reintroduce the idea of unlocking hidden Zombies maps by successfully completing the campaign, just like the beloved Black Ops map Five.īy placing a bonus map as a reward for campaign completion, it would generate more excitement and engagement for both the Zombies mode and the campaign mode in Call of Duty 2024.
